About Us

I remember that as a small boy I would make pendants out of tin lids, paint and leather. Don't ask me why, it just happened but I think about it came from being introduced to handicrafts by my gran Dell Taylor. I wanted to be a jeweller as a child. It was what I wanted to do. And I was lucky enough to do just that.

My Jewellery manufacturing career began in 1980 at sixteen years old. My first job out of high school. I was an apprentice at Alan Donovan (same name, not related) Handcrafted Jewellery in Sydney. I finished my apprenticeship working for Clark and Walton in Sydneys Surry Hills. I  worked there as a tradesman for a couple of years. However things happened and I ended up finishing the first part of my career right there!

Fast forward to 2021.Things have certainly changed but what hasn't changed is my love of jewellery. When life happened and I found myself at a crossroad not knowing what to do for a job I wondered what I was passionate about. I realised that I've always loved jewellery. Even in the years of being consumed by life I would always look in jewellery store windows and was entranced by what I saw. So there we have it Full Circle Creative Jewellery is born. Full Circle because its taken forty years to get back to being able to do what I love!

After doing other stuff for what seems and is a lifetime I'm back and making Jewellery from my workshop in Leichhardt in Sydney's Inner West. I'm loving it and I hope that is reflected in what happens on these pages.

Special thanks to my loving wife Kerry, my jewellery colleague and friend of forty years Clive of Lloyds Jewellers Blackheath and all my friends and family who are on the ride with me.
